YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SEND MESSAGES ON WHATSAPP FROM NEW YEAR’S DAY

Whatsapp will be pulling supports from old smartphones, making future updates from it useless. This means users with old devices won’t be able to have access to the new update and will no longer be able to use the application.

So from new year’s day, users with Blackberry OS,Windows phone 7 and Windows phone 8.0,Nokia S40 and Symbian S60,IPhone 3GS/ios6,Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 won’t be able to update their whatsapp.

The developers had this to say

“While these mobile devices have been an important part of our story, they don’t offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app’s features in the future.

This was a tough decision for us to make, but the right one in order to give people better ways to keep in touch with friends, family, and loved ones using WhatsApp”

So now the question is, how will people survive without whatsapp?Because no one in this generation sends text messages anymore, whatsapp has taken that spot.

I guess people will have to start changing their phones before it gets to January 1st 2018.
