JAMB Made 7.8Million Naira In 2017
The Registrar of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Professor Ish’aq Oloyede, stated that the board generated N12 billion as income in the previous year (2017) and, had N7.8 billion left after deducting it’s expenses.

The Registrar, who spoke during an interview with journalists in Ilorin, Kwara State, yesterday, said the board was able to remit such amount because there was lack of wastages.
Oloyede also said that 1.7 million candidates sat for the last UTME and that the board expects two million candidates in 2018.
He also mentioned that the cases of multiple registrations where candidates applied for name change of results with higher names have been checked.
