Autopsy About To Be Done On A Prisoner When He wakes Up
Gonzalo Montoya Jiménez, an inmate at a jail in the Asturias region, woke up in a hospital mortuary after he was confirmed dead by 3 doctors. He regained consciousness hours before an autopsy was to be performed on him.
He is now at the Institute of Legal Medicine in Oviedo hospital under intensive care and observation.
The hospital explained the case to Spanish news channel Telecinco as Catalepsy. Catalepsy is a condition where a person’s vital signs slow down to the point of being almost imperceptible.
His “death” was confirmed by three experienced doctors at the prison and they ordered his body to be taken to the mortuary to know the cause of his death.
