Royal Baby Alert: Kate Middleton Has Gone Into Labour
Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to the Lindo Wing, maternity ward at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, today April 23, 2018.
This is going to be her third child with Prince Williams. The news broke from a palace statement which read:
“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London earlier this morning in the early stages of labor. The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge.”
She was admitted before 6 a.m. in the same hospital that delivered Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Baby No. 3 will be the fifth in line to the throne, after Prince Charles, Prince William, George, and Charlotte.
The couples announced the big news of Kate’s pregnancy in September through a statement:
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”
